Jaakko Pallasvuo (1987.) živi i radi u Helsinkiju, Finska. Pallasvuo snima videozapise i bavi se tekstovima, performansom i instalacijama koje istražuju tjeskobu današnjeg življenja i perspektivu života u nekoj mogućoj budućnosti.
Anni Puolakka (rođena u Oulu, Finska) živi i radi u Helsinkiju i bavi se performansom, videom, instalacijama, crtežom i tekstovima u kojima su biografski materijali ugrađeni u izmišljene svjetove. Radovi se poigravaju granicama i potencijalima ljudske životinje u traganju za smislenom i dinamičnom – ponekad uspavanom ili prljavom – povezanošću s drugim bićima, objektima i okruženjem. Puolakkina su djela nedavno prikazana u Muzeju moderne umjetnosti EMMA (Espoo), Galeriji Polansky (Prag), 427 (Riga), Muzeju moderne umjetnosti Kiasma (Helsinki), festivalu Baltic Circle (Helsinki) te Performance Space (Sydney).
TARWUK (Bruno Pogačnik Tremow i Ivana Vukšić) hrvatski je umjetnički dvojac sa sjedištem u New Yorku. U procesu stvaranja eksperimentiraju s granicama sebstva. Suradnička praksa TARWUK-a u proturječnosti je s numerativnom strukturom autorstva. To je tehnika transformacije koja se proteže od pojedinca do kolektiva i natrag do singularnosti TARWUK-a. Njegova mitologija podrazumijeva subverziju estetskog režima kulturne indoktrinacije, razoran potencijal jezične dekompozicije, prihvaćanje različitog, očaj identiteta i odbijanje sličnog. Nedavne samostalne izložbe uključuju Vernacular River Holds 6 Bodies Down, Lauba, Zagreb, LENT, Taito Ryokan, Tokio, ...Ti živiš već hiljadu godina, Team Gallery, New York i Tužni Rudar, 15 Orient, New York. Predstoji im grupna izložba 2021./22., koju priređuje kustos Bob Nikas u Galeriji Apalazzo (Brescia, Italija) i samostalna izložba u La Collezione Maramotti (Reggio Emilia, Italija).
Viktor Timofeev (rođen u Rigi, Latvija) multidisciplinarni je umjetnik koji živi i radi u New Yorku. Izlagao je u Latvijskom nacionalnom muzeju umjetnosti (Riga), Galeriji James u CUNY Graduate Center (New York), Stroom Den Haag (Haag), kim? Centru suvremene umjetnosti (Riga), Den Frie (Kopenhagen) i Bozar (Bruxelles).
Jaakko Pallasvuo (1987) lives and works in Helsinki, Finland. Pallasvuo makes videos, texts, performances and installations that explore the anxieties of being alive now, and the prospect of living in some possible future.
Anni Puolakka (born in Oulu, Finland) is based in Helsinki and makes performances, videos, installations, drawings and texts in which biographical materials are incorporated into fictional worlds. The works play with the boundaries and potential of human animals as they seek meaningful and vibrant – sometimes drowsy or dirty – involvement with other beings, objects and surroundings. Puolakka’s works have recently been shown at EMMA Museum of Modern Art (Espoo), Polansky Gallery (Prague), 427 (Riga), Kiasma Museum of Modern Art (Helsinki), Baltic Circle festival (Helsinki) and Performance Space (Sydney).
TARWUK (Bruno Pogacnik Tremow and Ivana Vuksic) is a Croatian artist duo based in New York. In the process of making work they experiment with limits of selfhood. TARWUK collaborative practice contradicts the numerative structure of authorship. It is a technique of transformation that spans from an individual to the collective and back to singularity of TARWUK. Its mythology implies subversion of the aesthetic regime of cultural indoctrination, disruptive potential of language decomposition, embrace of the different, despair of identity and the refusal of the similar. Recent solo exhibitions include “Vernacular River Holds 6 Bodies Down”, solo show, Lauba, Zagreb, “LENT”, at Taito Ryokan, Tokyo, “...Ti živiš već hiljadu godina.” at Team Gallery, New York, and “Tužni Rudar” at 15 Orient, New York. Forthcoming in 2021-22 is a group exhibition curated by Bob Nikas at Apalazzo Gallery (Brescia, Italy) and a solo presentation at the Collezione Maramotti (Reggio Emilia, Italy).
Viktor Timofeev (born in Riga, Latvia) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in New York. Timofeev has exhibited at the Latvian National Museum of Art (Riga), James Gallery at the CUNY Graduate Center (New York), Stroom Den Haag (The Hague), kim? Contemporary Art Center (Riga), Den Frie (Copenhagen) and Bozar (Brussels).

Kao što je vidljivo na fotografiji izvorne instalacije, postoji niz različitih oblika postavljenih tako da svi postaju jedan oblik te se na taj način aktivno poigravaju s idejom kontaminacije, prelaženja i izravne izloženosti sa slike na bića te izazivaju izoliranog umjetnika, stvarnost koju, nažalost, mnogi ljudi doživljavaju kao rezultat kontaminacije virusom COVID-19. Izvorna instalacija iz 2018. godine bavila se pojmom sreće (otuda i njezin naziv), kao istodobno zamislivim i paradoksalno nedostižnim stanjem postojanja. Sada ažurirana verzija SREĆE (preobražena), 2020. izravno odgovara na temu "Slika kao virus". Novi crteži sadržavat će slike povezane s pandemijom i golemom panikom svagdje oko nas, a instalacija u cjelini sastoji se od slika (crteža) koje se čine poput zaraznih virusa. Oni se transformiraju, rastu, prenose i šire na temelju specifičnih granica zidova, poput živog, dišućeg bića koje prodire kroz izložbeni prostor.

As evidenced in the photo of the original installation, there are multiple distinct pieces that are arranged in such a way that they all become one form, thereby actively playing with ideas of contamination, crossover and direct exposure between images and entities and challenging the idea of the isolated artist, a reality that unfortunately many people are experiencing as a result of CoVid-19 contamination possibilities. The original installation in 2018 addressed the notion of happiness (hence its title), as both an imaginable and paradoxically unattainable state of being. Now the updated version HAPPINESS (morphed), 2020 responds directly to the “The image as a virus” theme. The new drawings will contain imagery related to the pandemic and the overwhelming panic all around us, and the installation as a whole is composed of images (drawings) which act as virus contagens. They morph, grow, transfer and expand based on the specific confines of the walls, like a living, breathing entity seeping through the exhibition space.
