Duška Boban (1974.) diplomirala je 2000. godine na Akademiji likovnih umjetnosti u Zagrebu u klasi prof. Ante Kuduza i magistrirala na odsjeku vizualnih komunikacija pri Akademiji za likovnu umjetnosti i oblikovanje u Ljubljani 2013. godine s temom Javni prostor i građanska participacija: Aktivizam i kulturne prakse u Splitu posljednjeg desetljeća. Sudionica je umjetničke grafičke rezidencije Expression of Youth u Urbinu u Italiji te rezidencijalnog programa Design for Social Change pri Schoool of Visual Arts u New Yorku. Članica je ULUPUH-a, HULU Split i Udruge za suvremenu umjetnost KVART. Pokretačica je neformalne Inicijative za Marjan početkom 2011. koja je organizirala niz događanja umjetničko-aktivističkog predznaka s ciljem povećanja svijesti o važnosti očuvanja Park šume Marjan kao prirodnog i kulturnog dobra od nacionalnog značaja. U Školi za dizajn, grafiku i održivu gradnju u Splitu predaje stručne predmete fotografija, video i medijski projekti. Aktivna je na polju vizualnih umjetnosti. Fotografije su joj u stalnom postavu Galerije umjetnina u Splitu.
Duška Boban (1974) graduated in 2000 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of professor Ante Kuduz and received her master's degree from the Department of Visual Communications at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 2013 with the thesis topic “Public space and civic participation: Activism and Cultural Practices in Split during the last decade“. She was a participant in the Expression of youth art graphic residency in Urbino, Italy and in the Design for Social Change residency program of the School of Visual Arts in New York. She is a member of ULUPUH Zagreb, HULU - Split and the Association for Contemporary Art KVART, Split. Duška is the initiator of the informal Initiative for Marjan in early 2011, which organized a series of artistic-activist events in public space with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of preserving the Marjan Forest Park as a national cultural and natural heritage. She teaches photography, video and media projects at the School for Design, Graphics and Sustainable Building in Split and is active in the field of visual arts. Her photographs are in the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Fine Arts in Split.

Četiri ježa-modela, koje sam kasnije vratila u morske dubine, čuvala sam do kraja njihova poziranja u posudi s morskom vodom, pa su na foto-papiru ostali još tragovi od slijevanja kapljica i pokoji otpali trn, rađajući u razvijaču meteore koji padaju, daleke zvijezde, cijele galaksije. Ali oči su nam na otok došle natopljene pandemijom i svi smo gledajući u nastale analogne slike vidjeli osim zvijezda i viruse. Kao prijetnju. Kao šansu. (iz umjetničine izjave)
Four sea urchin models, which I later returned to the depths of the sea, I kept until the end of their posing in a container with sea water, so that traces of droplets and some spines fallen off can be found on the photo paper, hence giving birth to falling meteors, distant stars, entire galaxies in the developer. Yet, our eyes came to the island soaked in the pandemic and while looking at the resulting analog images we saw except the stars also the viruses. As a threat. As a chance.
