The painting I Never Had a Plan B is painted “raw“, outside of all academic rules and without finishing touches, as a contrast to the idealized approach to art that is possible using artificial intelligence. The figure of the painter, in a rusty paintbox, “naked and barefoot“, stands in an apocalyptic landscape and defies a world that is rushing towards ruin. The text on the painting speaks of uncompromisingness in art. Symbols of sacrifice in art and the readiness for it are also depicted: “Van Gogh's ears“ – two, not one. The painting is an attempt to return to “imperfect“ painting and creativity in art without the application of technology that strives for idealization, does not care about humanity, and blurs reality.
